PROGRAM
:
Day 1:
Transfer airport - hotel. Reception
at elected hotel. You can take the City Tour in the morning (9:30) or in
the afternoon (15:30) which includes Main Square, Atahualpa Rescue Room,
Cathedral and main colonial churches, museum and Santa Apolonia hill.
All of the city tour is walking.
Duration 3 hours - Daily except Tuesdays

Day
2:
Breakfast at hotel. We start our tour heading CumbeMayo, an
impresionant and huge rock forest, with petrogliphs, sacrifice stone,
sanctuary and a master hydraulic engineer work in the pre columbian
America, the acqueduct. Highly recommended. Aprox. 3 hours.
In the
afternoon. Start tour to Inca Baths (Thermal Waters) and Collpa farm,
where you can see how cows are called by their names. After that, a
visit to Llanacora district whith their lovely waterfalls. Finally the
caves of Callacpuma (ancient art on the walls) . Aprox 3 hours.
Day 3:
Apart from enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Cajamarcan valley on
the way, we'll visit the Otuzco Windows (Ventanas de Otuzco), an ancient
cementery (shown on photo), and the hanging bridge before heading to
both Tres Molinos (garden of Big Leaf
Hydrangeas) and
Los Alpes (fresh dairy products produced there) farms. Abour 3 hours
Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel. You can do the
tour in the morning or in the afternoon. Start the tour towards Porcon
Farm, on the way we can see the artisan center
of stone carving in Campocanch and then we'll arrive to Porcon. This is
the biggest forest park in Peru with around 9000 reforested hectares,
watching farmers activities (breeding of cattle, sheep, alpacas,
vicunas, cuy, rabbits, trouts, etc.). Also a visit to a mini zoo with
all the animals founf in the peruvian jungle (pumas, panthers, monkeys,
foxes, etc.). At convenent time, transfer to airport or bus station.
